Food in Hospitals Practice Database

This database provides the opportunity to find information about work going on in Wales around food provision and nutritional care in hospitals.

The information has been grouped by both the category of work and which Ten Key Characteristic of Nutritional Care it contributes to.

The Ten Key Characteristics for Good Nutritional Care in Hospitals were produced by the Council of Europe Alliance (UK), which includes representation from Government and non-Government organisations across the UK with an interest in nutritional care. They have been developed to ensure that hospitals and healthcare staff deliver safe and effective nutritional care to patients in hospital and aim to create a common understanding of good nutritional care in a hospital environment. Fact sheets are available from the National Patient Safety Agency Website.
